It is a freehold condominium located a milestone away from Paradigm Mall, hotels, and office towers. Additionally, it offers urban architecture, unbeatable convenience, and luxury living to its residents.
The development is built on 2 acres of land and it invites people to “Dance to The God Life“, a slogan used in its marketing campaigns.
Not only that, Waltz Residences will surely be a revolutionary residential property as it is the first ever push for a paradigm shift in Overseas Union Garden (OUG).
It is also a brick-and-mortar development with a promise to provide lyrical living that is built around its elegant architecture and upbeat spaces.
Being the first project to be launched among all others of the W City masterplan makes it even more attractive.
It is also the first residential property to be built among the masterplan. It is termed as a “residential” property as it is located across Jalan Awan Besar.

Show Units, Unit Layout, and Floor Plans
The units in Waltz Residences range from 948 sq ft to 1,691 sq ft.
Each unit comes with a minimum of 3 rooms and 2 free carpark lots, regardless of the size of the unit.
There are four types of units – type A to type D.
Type A is the smallest unit (948 sq ft) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also has a small, square-shaped, balcony that is big enough to place a small coffee table and a chair.
Type B is 1,088 sq ft big and it has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a storeroom, balcony, and yard.
Type C is similar to that of Type B units, just that it is 1,250 units and it has an additional bedroom. The storeroom in Type B and Type C units is large enough to put in a normal-sized single bed.
Type D1 and D2 units are the largest units among all others, at 1,691 sq ft. What makes D1 units different from D2 units is the dual-key function in D1. In D1, the Studio unit comprises a bedroom and an attached bathroom. There are also no cooking facilities in the unit. Other than that, the layout of the units is the same.
Regardless of the availability of the dual-key function, the units still provide a wide and spacious feel. The layout of the units also has a seamless flow, with as many as 2 10 ft by 3 ft balconies.

Waltz Residences lies within W City, a 63 acres development. It is located along Jalan Awan Besar, Kuala Lumpur, and Overseas Union Garden (OUG).
The main road next to the development connects to Old Klang Road and Bukit Jalil, via Jalan Jalil Perkasa.
Both Jalan Jalil Perkasa 1 and Jalan Awan Besar roads link to the crossroad of an elevated 8-lanes bridge. Just further ahead from the bridge lies Waltz Residences.
The bridge connects to Sungai Kuyoh, MRR2, and KESAS highway. It also links OUG to Bukit Jalil and the areas beyond it.
Located at the junction of the same crossroad is Awan Besar LRT station. It was opened towards the end of 2015 as a part of the Ampang extension line.
The confluence of the two major townships, Overseas Union Garden (OUG) and Bukit Jalil, was the reason for the W City masterplan and Waltz Residences.
Both townships are very successful and it connects W City to them through Jalan Awan Besar.

About W City
W City is the first-ever KL South 4-in-1 integrated lifestyle destination. It features 63 acres of corporate offices, residential properties, retail shops, a hotel, and a 2 million sq ft Paradigm Mall KL.
About the Developer
WCT is a property developer with investment and management experience.
Their portfolio includes luxury homes, townships, industrial estates, high-rise residences, integrated commercial developments, offices, hotels, concessions, and shopping malls.
Currently, WCT has a land bank of around 1,000 acres in Malaysia. They own and operate three malls in Malaysia:
- Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre in Klang
- Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya
- Gateway @ KLIA2 in Sepang.
They also handle Premiere Hotel in Klang.
Looking at the engineering and construction side, WTC covers airports, F1 racing circuits, expressways, highways, dams, and water supply schemes, interior fit-out works, civil works, and monumental buildings (shopping malls and government administrative centers).
Over the years, WCT has built its reputation by providing top-quality services to its clients.
It has come a long way from its humble beginning in 1981. Back then, they were a one-machine company that was involved in earthworks. Now, they own and are handling the operations of its fourth mall, the Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru, which opened in Q3 of 2016.
They have a strong workforce with over 2,000 employees. Their global presences are also relatively strong and can be seen in six countries – Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain.
With Waltz Residences as the first development of the W City masterplan, it will definitely make WCT a widely recognized property development brand.
Waltz Residences Review
W City is located within close proximity to OKR, the old main road that connects Klang to KL.
OKR now connects Klang to other parts of Malaysia. OKR-Federal Route 2 was built in 1956 and opened in 1959. It is the oldest and the first major road in Klang Valley.
Additionally, the road was built even before Federal Highway.
The plan for W City is to be the epicenter of Klang Valley. It will be further flourished with the help of OKR as it connects Klang Valley to the area outside it.
With that, W City will definitely hold great potential for development and endless possibilities.
Despite all the envision for W City, it is still a fact that the development is built around matured townships, such as OUG. It will definitely be breaking new grounds when W City is fully developed with retail offices, corporate office towers, hotels, residential properties, and Paradigm Mall.
Paradigm mall is 2 million sq ft in size, and it is slightly larger than Mid Valley Mega Mall. However, it is still lacking in size compared to Pavilion Bukit Jalil City.
When W City is completed, it will definitely bring endless possibilities and opportunities for the residents and investors.
The main selling point is the ease of access to various areas – KL City Center within minutes, and the other areas that can be easily reached through private or public transport. This makes W City the central benchmark for people to live, play, and work.
If you are planning to invest in Waltz Residences, this is an opportunity not to be missed as it will bring capital appreciation and a high level of return for you.
Something to not forget is that Waltz Residences is part of a bigger plan – W City. Over the years, the 63 acres of land will develop into a vibrant city with a huge population.
